Multiple formats including; exclusive D2C signed clear vinyl, ltd edition indie exclusive orange marble vinyl, super deluxe test pressings - each individually hand designed by Jake, two versions of CD album, a cassette and merch has led to a great d2c campaign.
At the beginning of the year 4AD announced “First Two Pages of Frankenstein”, the much anticipated new album from The National.
The 4AD store was the only place where fans pre-ordering the album gained early access to presale tickets for the tour which was also announced to coincide with the album news.
Warp announced “Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds)”, the new album from Yves Tumor.
A pre-order campaign featured various formats, but also offered all three Yves albums as a bundle allowing new fans to complete the back catalogue with a simple user experience.
Early this year we also welcomed XL to the Ochre platform, with a brand new full catalogue label store.
This coincided with the announcement of Overmono’s debut album “Good Lies”. Highly anticipated would be an understatement; since their inception Overmono have purposefully cultivated a fanbase that heralds them as one of the UK’s most original contemporary live electronic acts.
We’re looking forward to plenty more D2C campaigns led from the XL store in 2023!
