The ability to easily feature carousel style banners for images has been a much requested feature from clients.
Whilst it's previously been possible to achieve this with custom code, now by simply uploading multiple images to the standard Banner Module you can choose to display as a carousel / slider within the module settings.
This is especially useful for large catalogue stores or products that are visually interesting.
